Giving is one of the simplest ways we can trust and worship God with humble hearts because of what He’s given to us. It also aids us, as a church, to continue spreading the Good News!

Ways to Give

Giving Hope to Our Ministries

General Offering
We invite you to give as you are called during worship, or by mail.  If your family uses electronic giving, we invite you to use your financial institution’s automatic bill pay service, or you can set up automatic withdrawal.  The authorization form may be downloaded here, printed, and placed in the offering. Printed forms are also available at the entrance to the Celebration Center to enroll.

The Building Fund
New Hope is planning for the future.  Our plan is to construct a new church building as we continue to grow.  The Building Fund is a great way to give large and small gifts alike, particularly as we seek to build our faith and future together more permanently.  If you can financially go "above and beyond" your tithes, special gifts to this fund are very appreciated.  Stocks, mutual funds, and legacy giving are all thankfully received.

Scrip (Gift Cards)
This doesn't cost you any extra money, but when you order any of the multitude of gift card options to spend in the area or online, these businesses give a percentage back to New Hope. From restaurants, clothing stores, grocery stores, gas stations, and Amazon, the purchases you would need to make anyway can benefit New Hope at no extra cost to you.

Amazon Smile
Simply use this link,  and choose to support New Hope United Methodist Church.  .5% of your purchases is donated back to New Hope and doesn't add a single penny to your price.

Thrivent Choice Dollars
If you are a member of Thrivent, or are interested in buying any of their services, the portion that Thrivent (a non-profit) would have paid in taxes on your account is available for you to designate to an approved non-profit of your choice. New Hope is now approved, and every year you could designate your "Choice Dollars", ranging from $25-$2,500 a year, to New Hope.
