New Hope church council adopted a mission statement that originally comes from our denomination, and is a statement of the fundamental purpose of any local church:

The mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

 

Our vision statement reflects what we are called to be and do as we move into the future:

Every person has a God-given ministry to plant and grow these fruits of Christ’s new hope:
1) Inviting – reaching out and welcoming all persons in need of Christ’s love.
2) Worshiping – joining together as a community to praise God.
3) Learning – constantly growing in our love of God and neighbor.
4) Loving – caring and giving from changed hearts.
5) Serving – sacrificing to share Christ’s new hope with others.
