A Message from Pastor Greg

Dear Members and Friends,

Launching a new church has been such an amazing experience for me.  I know that it has been for you also!  It all started in 2006 with six people praying in the dining room of my home.  We asked God for direction, and we offered to serve Christ however we were needed.  In the following weeks and months, we watched God's blessings unfold!  A new church has been born that is warm and welcoming, growing and caring, serving and giving.

I have been blessed to witness the excitement at New Hope about giving gratefully.  Those first few families have given nearly a quarter million dollars – a tremendous sacrifice, but offered with joy!  One family decided on a Saturday evening that our church needed a better piano.  They loaded their nearly-new grand piano onto a truck that same evening.  They were overflowing with joy and laughter as they brought it into the church!  Week after week, I see new examples of persons giving generously of their time, talents, treasures, and service – it is a true blessing to serve alongside all of you!

God is doing amazing things through the people of New Hope, and I am so glad that you are a part of it.  We have much yet to do in the coming months and years – launching new ministries and missions, constructing a building, and so much more.  All of us will have to give sacrificially for this to happen.  But, of course, the true reason that we will give is that we are grateful for God's blessings upon us!

I am so glad that God has led you to this place.  I look forward to us growing together!

Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Greg

The Cheerful Giver
...whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
