United Methodist Children's Services (www.umcs-wi.org) was organized in 1962 and has been serving women, children and families in the Milwaukee area for 45 years. They have three main areas of emphasis. The Growing Tree Children's Center, the Transitional Living Program, and the Family Resource Center. Our work while we are there will most likely be with the Family Resource Center as part of the emergency food pantry and clothing distribution, however we may be asked to help clean or paint one of their transitional homes as well. It all depends where their greatest area of need is on the days we are there.

We will be collecting diapers, baby wipes and feminine hygiene products to take as a gift for UMCS, please bring to New Hope on or before Wednesday, March 10th.
