Vision Planning

Updated March 2nd, 2014

At the end of 2013, New Hope Church Council left off with the goal to begin vision planning for New Hope in 2014. The church body is now working towards redefining New Hope and the direction of the church within the community.

Vision Planning is not a one-meeting discussion, but rather many conversations where we will explore who we are, who we serve, and how we serve.

As a reminder, Church Council meetings are open to anyone - even those not officially serving on Church Council.

Phase 2: Exploring Who We Serve

In the February Church Council meeting, the Vision Planning team reviewed the results of January's exploration of who we are as a church. Everyone at New Hope was asked to provide feedback regarding where New Hope is on the spectrum of Faith Community and Traditional Church as well as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and concerns. Download the report of this feedback below. This feedback will be incorporated as we continue the Vision Planning process.

In the month of March, we ask New Hope to provide feedback on what Faith Journey means:

What is a faith journey and what is involved?

What does New Hope currently offer that is helping you on your personal faith journey?
