Young Hope Youth Group (Grades 6 - 12)

New Hope provides a welcoming, pressure-free environment for teens who are interested in growing their faith through service projects, Christian education, and recreational activities. All youth are welcome, even if you aren't a member of New Hope!

Upcoming Meetings and Activities

  • Sunday, January 13th – I Can Only Imagine Movie Night

    6:00 pm – 8:15 pm, Room 104 at New Hope UMC. Bring a comfy chair or pillow as we take the full meeting to watch “I Can Only Imagine”, a film inspired by Bart Miller’s real-life story behind the beloved MercyMe song. Popcorn will be provided!

  • Sunday, January 20th – Cheese Off! Grilled Cheese Competition

    6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Room 104 at New Hope UMC. Tonight you are the chef! Everyone will have a chance to create your own grilled cheese masterpiece. We will supply the bread and cheese, you bring anything else! Top 2 winners from tonight move onto the finals.

  • Sunday, January 27th – Special Event: Cheese Off – The Finale (Mission Trip Fundraiser)

    10:00 am – 11:45 am, New Hope UMC. The top 2 youth finalists and their youth teams take on the Pastor in New Hope’s first ever Grilled Cheese Competition! Come eat and place your vote for our very own Master Chef. Funds raised will go towards our 2019 mission trip to Blue Knob, PA.

  • Saturday, February 2nd – Special Mission Event: NEW Community Shelter Lunch Service

    11:30am – 2:00pm, NEW Community Shelter. Today we give back by serving lunch at the local homeless shelter in Green Bay. Come ready to serve and love our community! Special permission slips are required for this activity.

  • Saturday, February 9th – Special Mission Event: Winter Snow Shoe Hike

    1:30pm – 3:30pm, Green Bay Botanical Garden. Explore God’s winter wonderland with us as we do a guided snowshoe hike through the gardens. Dress for the weather! Cost is $5 per person. Special permission slips are required for this activity.

  • Sunday, February 17th – Reality Check: Stump the Pastor

    6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Room 104 at New Hope UMC. Join us as Pastor Rebecca answers your questions about the church, theology, Bible, beliefs and hot teen topics. Afterwards, take on the Jenn’s in our first ever Weird Trivia Contest!

  • SAVE THE DATE: 2nd Annual 30 Hour Famine is scheduled for Friday, May 3rd - Saturday, May 4th!

To ensure your child's safety, All youth participating in our Youth group program are required to have a signed medical release form.    

For special events, you will need a signed permission slip. These are available in our church office or by clicking on the links to the right.
